Let the Son Shine

"The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day." Proverbs 4:18 Are you letting God's light shine in this dark world? One particularly dark and stormy morning, I was backing out of the driveway to head to work when something caught my eye.  It was the tiniest of butterflies with pale butter-yellow wings that were so bright and translucent.  This small butterfly lit up the dark sky with just the soft light of its wings. How much more can we, having the light of Jesus, light up this dark world? God's Word tells us in Isaiah 58:10, "Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon" (NLT).
